For me, passion is about memorable engagements. My most memorable engagement thus far was with a large Medicaid managed care incumbent organization which was bidding for a behavioral health contract. Without relying on prior bids we had to develop a 50 page response to a few specific questions. I knew we had to get the most from the subject matter experts within a short time frame. I developed thought-provoking questions after researching the local behavioral health program. In order to win the bid it was extremely important to understand the client’s accomplishments and outcomes during the past three years.
The client was impressed with the proposal, and to me it was most gratifying when my client won the bid.
