Ashley brings nearly 20 years of proposal writing, management, and business development experience to Optimetra and its clients. She was most recently director of proposal development with Molina Healthcare where she trained and developed proposal developers and specialized in developing complex and high-profile proposal content. While her recent area of focus has been health care, Ashley also has proposal development experience in the information technology, human services, and transportation fields.
Like so many proposal professionals, Ashley took an interesting path to her career in proposal development. After only three days in her role as an international traveling information technology consultant for a leading IT firm, Ashley was asked to coach her company’s orals team. Overnight, she was converted into a successful proposal specialist. Later, she was asked to leverage her marketing experience for the critical task of creating and implementing the firm’s proposal and business development team.
Ashley later transitioned to Xerox (formerly ACS), where she spent the next 13 years supporting every key phase of the proposal development process for their Proposal Operations team. In her roles as proposal manager, director of proposal operations and senior content development specialist she developed compelling content, directed large writing teams, oversaw proposal quality assurance, and concurrently managed multiple bids. Most recently, Ashley was the director of proposal development at Molina Healthcare, where she was part of a leadership team that was responsible for the creation of a nationally-recognized proposal program during a time of immense growth for the company.
As a seasoned manager and highly proficient writer, Ashley brings her passion, energy, and talents to each proposal engagement she supports. Ashley enjoys collaborating with clients to draw out elements of your best story, one that addresses complex health care problems in a responsive and compelling way. Her favorite challenge is to bring life to the everyday tasks that make up the many facets of Medicaid managed care operations into persuasive, engaging content.
