Specialties: Proposal Writing, Health Disparities, Program Design, Program Evaluation

Home Base: Colorado Springs, CO

Kimberly comes to Optimetra after managing health programs in South Sudan and Liberia. Through her experiences delivering health care during disease outbreaks, supply chain ruptures, and war, Kimberly has mastered the skill of creating practical solutions for impossible situations. She is a writer, program designer, and program evaluator, with a long-standing commitment to eliminating health disparities.

Kimberly understands the challenges of making health care accessible to populations that fall outside the mainstream. She started her career studying the ramifications of poverty by living in a low-income mobile home park. The majority of her neighbors were Medicaid members, but with low levels of health knowledge and multiple barriers to access, health outcomes were consistently poor.

The driving force behind Kimberly’s work is to overcome the challenges preventing people from living with their highest possible level of health. Her passion produces compelling proposals, crafted intelligently, with clear commitment to the end-user.

Kimberly Pattison, MPH
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. – Albert Einstein
